Nurse Practitioner Rose Iverson joined Family Medicine in May 2016. She loves that she has the opportunity to be here at Family Medicine. “Everyone is so warm and welcoming,” said Rose. Rose also said she is excited to bring her passion for serving the community to Family Medicine.
Rose loves all types of gardening and spends most of her spring and early summer days preparing her vegetable and flower beds. “I love to cook and use what I grow!” she said.
Rose also enjoys hiking, kayaking, bird watching and biking. But when August rolls around, everything takes a backseat for football!!
Traveling and spending time together is a big part of life for Rose and her family. Rose, along with her husband of more than 30 years, and their four children have traveled all over the US and parts of Europe.
When they’re not traveling, Rose and her husband still enjoy time with their grown children, along with their granddaughter. They enjoy lots of adventures together, even if it’s just at home. “We’re a large enough group that even if it’s just a dinner on the patio it looks like a party!”
Rose completed her RN degree at Elgin Community College in Elgin. She completed both her BSN and MSN at Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Specializing in Family Practice. Rose holds a National Certificate as Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
